Kovacevic is charged with having participated in an attack on Sijekovac village on March 26, 1992. Acting in collaboration with others, he allegedly took 15 adults and four children, some of whom were killed, from their houses into a yard.

On that same day a status conference is due to be held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, in the case against Goran Vujovic and Miroslav Duka, who are charged with having persecuted the non-Serb population in Bileca in 1992.

The trial of Dragan Sekaric, who is charged with murders, torture, rape and other crimes in Gorazde and Visegrad, continues with examination of four Prosecution witnesses on Monday, April 21.

The trial for crimes committed in Dretelj continues with examination of Edib Buljubasic’s Defence witness on Tuesday, April 22. Buljubasic is on trial along with Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic.

On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian Nicolae Vintila, who are charged with crimes in former “Viktor Bubanj” military barracks in Sarajevo, and Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica.

The trial of Vitomir Rackovic, who is indicted for crimes in Visegrad, continues on Wednesday, while the continuation of the trials of Marinko and Zoran Bjelica and Novica Tripkovic, who are charged with crimes in the Kalinovik area, as well as Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin for crimes in the Hadzici area is scheduled for Thursday, April 24.

The trial for crimes committed in “Silos” detention camp, “Krupa” military barracks and “9. maj” school building is due to continue that same day. These crimes are charged upon Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember.

The trial of Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic, Kahro Vejzovic and Osman Gogic, who are charged with crimes in the Kladanj area, is due to continue on Friday, April 25.

The trial of Josip Tolic, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, who is charged with having participated in the abuse of Serb prisoners in the Odzak and Bosanski Brod area, continues on Friday with presentation of Prosecution’s evidence.

The retrial of Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with crimes in Krajina, is due to continue in the week ahead.
